Tending to the needs of a pup takes a lot of time and energy. Since the launch of our first iPad app, The Adventures of Puppup: Lost at the Zoo in December 2012 it’s been a wild, hectic, tear at the dog park. In case you missed it, Apple featured Puppup on its education page in early July, sending us into a tail-chasing frenzy of excitement. We’ve been working like dogs on an update to bring along a few enhancements to the Puppup experience. But while working on the update we caught a scent and went off on a tangent, one that will please those who don’t have access to an iPad. That’s right, Puppup's coming to the small screen!! The iPhone/iPod touch screen that is!
Since day one our focus has been on top quality illustrations. We didn’t seriously consider making the app available via the smaller format iPhone and iPod because we assumed that we’d lose quality. But we just finished testing the app on the small screen and found that the images look awesome. We had to tweak some things to adjust for the different screen ratio. And we bumped up the font size just a tad. The iPhone/iPod version of Puppup will benefit from the improvements we’re making in the update to the iPad version. Watch for Puppup soon, on every type of screen near you! Good dog!
